We recently had Guy from Southern solar install our system, including battery and inverter. It is all controllable via a handy app. With my octopus cosy tariff, I can set the FOX system to charge the battery from the grid at my low cost off peak times, top up with solar and run the house from my battery in the peak times! Guy is extremely professional, attentive and has a keen eye for detail. He arranged all of the permissions needed with the supplier and MCS to get the installation sorted. His prices are very competitive and I would recommend his services to anybody looking for a trusted local installer.

I recently had a solar system with a 12kWh battery installed by Southern Solar and Electrical Ltd, and I’m really pleased with the result. Guy and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with from start to finish. They took the time to explain how everything works and helped me choose the right setup for my home, without any pressure. The installation was carried out to a very high standard, completed on time, and everything was left clean and tidy. The addition of the 12kWh battery has made a big difference, allowing me to store energy and make better use of the system throughout the day and night. Overall, a great experience and a company I’d happily recommend to anyone considering solar.

I highly recommend Southern Solar and Electrical. Guy fitted our original inverter and batteries over two years ago (this was retrofitted to our existing solar panels), and they have been fantastic. He recently installed a new bonding unit. It was a genuine pleasure having Guy arrange and undertake the installations. He is always happy to discuss and explain the options, and listen to your thoughts, and is a very conscientious and careful installer. Highly recommended!!

Guy and his team were fantastic from start to finish .The quote arrived quickly based on a Google roof rooftop survey which was followed up by a site survey to confirm it was achievable and the placement of electrics for the battery and inverter.Within a week the scaffold was up, the panels installed and the house is now running almost solely by solar energy ...happy days ! Thanks Guy and team 🙌

Guy went above and beyond from initial consultation to setting me up on the app. His knowledge of his products is amazing. I'm delighted with my end product and how much electricity we're producing from Guys system design. Ive already recommended him to friends and family interested in solar and will continue to do so.
